December 2019 - Kodi posing under all of the rosettes he earned in 2019. Even with the very limited showing, he had an amazing year!
​December 2019 - Kodi and Shiva's title certificates and rosettes earned through the International Canine Ninja and Dog Parkour UK programs. They both earned their IMN title as well as the DPUK-UEFL1, DPUK-NEFL1, and DPUK-EXFL1 - the first two Siberian Huskies worldwide to earn any of these titles!
​​November 2019 - Kodi and Shiva are now official AKC PupPals! This program provides letters of encouragement with photos and short bios for the dogs to children who are enduring tough situations, from natural disasters to illness to a death in the family. We know these two would be overjoyed to know they're providing a little bit of hope to a child in need.
​November 5, 2019 - Kodi and Shiva are Trick Dog pioneers! They are now the 3rd and 4th Siberians in the world to earn the International Canine Ninja Level 1 (ICN) and Dog Parkour UK Built Environment Foundation Level 1 (DPUK-BEFL1) titles.

Even cooler, they are the first two Siberians worldwide to earn the PKD-T (Parkour Dog In Training) and ICN-2ONS (ICN 2-On Specialist) titles! Way to go, Kodi and Shiva!
November 18, 2018 - Sandy was lucky enough to have a photographer take tons of photos of Kodi doing his favorite thing - lure coursing! A Siberian in motion is a beautiful thing to behold!

October 13, 2018 - Kodi and Sandy at the Sooner State Kennel Club 75th Anniversary Show in Enid, OK. Kodi went WD/BOW on Saturday and WD on Sunday!
Kodi and Sandy have recently taken up another activity: pack dog training! Just like with weight pull, Kodi loves going for walks with his weighted pack, and once they've both had some more practice and conditioning, Sandy even plans to start taking Kodi backpacking on the woodland trails outside of town.

Sandy and Kodi spent Memorial Day Weekend 2018 in Girard, KS while they tried their first ACA show. They did very well, with Kodi taking BOB/GRP1 in all 6 shows, plus 4 BIS-3's (ACA offers 1st-3rd place BIS awards rather than just BIS/RBIS) , and a *BEST IN SHOW!* Way to go, Team Kodi!
Kodi posing with his awards from the Ohio Doberman Club's Virtual Dog Show, a digital competition fundraiser for the club's UKC show which he competed in on May 1st. He was awarded Best of Breed, Northern Group 2, Best Coursing Ability on Field, and Total Dog, and also received a lovely rosette from his Parade of Titleholders entry.

April 12th, 2018 - Kodi posing with his spoils from his first day back in the AKC conformation ring at the Grand Lake Cluster in Grove, OK. He took WD, BOS, OHBOB, and an OH Group 1!
March was a busy month for "Kodi the Okie!" Not only did he earn his Coursing Ability Advanced with 3 qualifying runs, he also earned his Advanced Trick Dog title and his Farm Dog Certification (rural CGC)! Congratulations, team Kodi!
March 25, 2018 - Kodi earned his FDC (Farm Dog Certification) test at Latigo Farm in Broken Arrow, OK.
It was cold and threatening to storm, which Kodi definitely enjoyed, and he made Sandy very proud when he resisted the temptation of running at the ducks and chickens and all but ignored the sheep entirely.
​Kodi got to spend the weekend of March 10-11, 2018 doing his favorite thing - lure coursing - at the Tulsa Sighthound Association event in Edmond, OK.
​He passed all 3 Coursing Ability Tests, earning the last 3/10 Q's needed for his CAA title!
Kodi has earned one of AKC's newest awards - the Achiever Dog! This is awarded to dogs who have earned qualifying scores or placements in at least 3 different sports, and at least one must have been earned after 12/1/17. Kodi earned his on Sandy's birthday when they went to McKinney, TX for a Coursing Ability Test.
Kodi & Sandy have been very busy in 2017! Not only did Kodi earn his  AKC TKN, TKI, CA, CGC, CGCA, CGCU, and SPOT, but he also qualified and earned his AKC Rally Novice obedience title with a Second Place, Fourth Place and another Second placement! We are so proud of what these two have accomplished!

Sandy & Kodi love doing the Coursing Ability Test. As you can see Sandy believes Kodi loves this the best! His daddy Kruiz is the same. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree! Kodi now has 6 of the 10 "legs" towards his next degree of "CAA!"

Sandy & Kodi headed to an APRI show October 28th, 2017 in Harrisonville, MO. Kodi earned his Champion title and did it in style by being the only dog to receive 2/3 PERFECT scores in one day!

Kodi is pictured above at 10 1/2 months old. The first picture is him (being very humble I might add) with his winnings from his weekend at the ICKC shows. The next two are his very first snow falls. They don't get much snow in Oklahoma and Kodi was loving it!
Kodi is pictured along the top row at 6, 7 and 8 months of age. The bottom row he is 9 months old. He has matured into such a lovely boy with correct reach and drive and beautiful side movement! We sure are proud of these two! I am sure Sandy and Kodi will accomplish many more things as they enjoy different venues and events! We will be sure to keep you updated!
